  Types of Euro Cylinders

  Euro cylinders in Gateshead come in three main types. Double Key cylinders can be locked and unlocked from both sides. Key and Turn cylinders can only be locked and unlocked using a key on one side and have a thumb turn on the other side. Single Key cylinders can only be locked or unlocked from one side.
  
  

  Sash Jammers

  The Sash Jammer is a security device for both windows and doors in Gateshead. It has a securing arm which hinders the forced levering of the sash or door leaf. If we cannot find a new lock for a door to make it secure on the day we can fit a sash jammer to the door. Once the lock is obtained, the jammers can be removed. This is most often used where the door itself has been damaged.
